Advising the Principal on a wide range of issues that impact St. Mark Catholic School,
the School Advisory Committee (SAC) assists with both short-term and long-range planning
for Saint Mark Catholic School.
Issues addressed by SAC include: curriculum, marketing, grant writing, uniform policy, budget, tuition, scheduling and facilities maintenance. As SAC is advisory in nature, the final decisions for the school are made by the Principal and the Pastor.
Members of SAC include the principal, pastor, parish members, faculty and parents/guardians of school students.
The School Advisory Council meets once a month in the evenings, and time dedicated to SAC activities count toward school volunteer hours.
