The following is a list of the basic uniform for St. Mark Catholic School.
Girls Basic Uniform Grades K- 5:
White or green knit shirt with collar (long or short sleeved) with St. Mark Catholic School name.
Navy blue uniform pants, capris or skort. Plaid skort.
Plaid jumper with Peter Pan collar shirts (long or short sleeved) - K - 3 ONLY
Navy blue sweatshirts, hooded jackets, cardigans or fleece zip-ups with St. Mark School logo.
Children may wear their winter coats outside the building when we experience very cold temperatures (under 40° F).
Boys Basic Uniform Grades K- 5:

Boys Basic Uniform Grades 6- 8:
Green knit shirt with white trimmed collar (short sleeved) embroidered with St. Mark Middle School name.
Green knit shirt with collar (long sleeved) with St. Mark Middle School name.
Navy blue uniform pants or shorts.
Navy blue sweatshirts, hooded jackets or fleece zip-ups with St. Mark Middle School logo. Children may wear their winter coats outside the building when we experience very cold temperatures (under 40° F)
P.E.Uniforms:
Grades K-4: No uniform required. Students are to wear the basic school uniform with athletic shoes. Girls must wear shorts under jumpers.
Grades 5-8: Gray St. Mark P.E. T-shirt, blue St. Mark P.E. shorts or solid navy blue sweatpants, and athletic shoes.
Socks for all:
Solid white crew or ankle socks with no lace, logo or trim
Girls may wear white or navy tights or knee-high socks with skorts or jumpers.
Footgear for all:
Sturdy, flat-heeled, one-color athletic shoe or dress shoe (white or black). Dress shoes are preferred on Mass days. All shoes must have enclosed toes and backs. No logos / designs/ lines of a different color will be permitted. No ornamentation (flowers, etc.) will
be permitted. Heelys are not permitted.
Shoe laces must match the color of the shoe, and contain no designs / logos / lines / ornamentation
Outerwear:
Navy blue sweatshirt, cardigan or fleece zip-ups with St. Mark School name.
Basic attire guidelines include the following:
Uniforms must be in good repair,must not be faded or stained, and must fit correctly.
If trousers/shorts have belt loops, a black belt is required (a belt is not required for Kindergarteners).
Skorts and shorts must come no more than 3 inches above the knee.
Shirts must remain tucked.
A plain white or green undershirt may be worn under the uniform shirt. It must be the same color as the uniform shirt worn. It must not extend beyond the uniform sleeves.
No wearing of any article of clothing other than specified in the dress code during school hours.
Accessories:
Visible body piercing (except the ear lobe) and visible tattoos are prohibited
Students are limited to one bracelet
Girls may wear one ring, and one stud-like earring per ear, that does not extend beyond the earlobe
Boys and girls are allowed to wear a non-alarm watch, and a small necklace with religious affiliation, kept inside shirt
Girls' hair accessories must be conservative in nature and coordinate with the St. Mark uniform
Hair and Appearance: All students are expected to be neat and clean in appearance. Students must maintain their natural hair color during the school months. Hair must be kept out of face to avoid distraction during school. Boys' hair length must be maintained above shirt collar.
Girls may not wear make-up of any kind. (See Principal and nurse for approval concerning severe dermatology problems). Girls may wear clear or light pastel nail polish.
Any student in non-compliance of these attire policies will be issued a uniform infraction. Actions/steps are as follows:
Verbal Warning – Student must fix problem and reach
full compliance.
First infraction issued. Infraction is sent home and
must be returned to school with parent signature.
After three infractions, the student must forfeit
their privilege of a dress down day.
After four infractions, student forfeits dress-down
day privilege.
4th – 8th graders will serve detention.
After five infractions (and so on), student will not be admitted to class until compliance is reached and all work will be considered late or not accepted.
