Volunteers

The involvement of our parents is a vital component of St. Mark Catholic School. Research indicates many positive educational outcomes when parents are involved in their children's school including greater academic success, improved self-esteem, and high levels of attendance.

At St. Mark Catholic School each family is required to contribute 30 volunteer hours each year. There is an option to buy-out the hours for $500. There are many opportunities to participate depending on your interest and schedule including:

  • Library Assistant
  • Lunch Help
  • Art Assistant
  • PTO & Activities
  • SAC
  • Greeting Desk 
  • Drop-Off Line Assistant
  • Class Parent

At the beginning of each academic year your child's teacher will request volunteers. In addition, other volunteer opportunities will be listed in the weekly school e-mail as they arise.
